Louisville, Kentucky, was a hotbed of farm equipment activity during last week’s National Farm Machinery Show.
New product announcements were plentiful during the show, and folks in the media had a tough challenge moving from booth to booth.
There were a few news items that were of particular interest, and I thought I’d call your attention to them. First, there’s a great video with interviews from several of the major tractor companies on the trends in four-wheel-drive tractors that’s worth a look.
And Geringhoff really had a head-turning display as its row-independent corn head made its debut. Although it is still in the prototype phase, the company says the product can harvest corn regardless of row spacing or equipment configuration. Introduction is expected in 2015.
Did you make it to the National Farm Machinery Show this year? If so, what products caught your eye?
