No matter what I am doing, I always seem to function better, and get more done, if I have a clear, concise, written-down list. Whether it’s writing down the photos I need to take while on location, a list of questions I need to ask, listing new features and asking about each one, or as simple as a grocery list…the job is made easier with a list.
So while the heart of farm show season is still a few weeks away, I am starting to assemble my “lists” of products to see, questions to ask, and photos to take. And as a producer, I am sure you are starting to determine your equipment needs, find out what is new and improved, and where you will spend your valuable time.
Here’s a good start. AGCO recently announced updates for the company’s combines.
The example in the link above provides a good rundown of the updates, and can give you some added information as you see this and other new iron at one of the many farm shows this fall.
What sways you to visit an equipment booth at a farm show? And how much information do you gather before you visit?
