Audio! Farm Equipment Thefts Rising

Farm equipment thefts are becoming a big problem. According to Extension Agent Kenny Perry in Graves County, Kentucky: “For the last probably 18 months we’ve had an increase in thefts, primarily attributable I think to the increase in price of scrap, and the general downturn in the economy. Rural land homeowners tend to be fairly trusting folks, so a lot of time they leave things unlocked.”
